Generally speaking, LED decorative light strings do not have safety hazards. If the circuit is damaged, it will only consume electricity, and it is difficult for the light strings produced by regular LED decorative light manufacturers to have safety hazards. The reasons are as follows:
1. The input voltage of the LED light string is usually DC 12V.
2. The solar-powered LED lamps that are selling now are safer and do not need to be plugged in.
3. Strict production process and quality inspection procedures of regular manufacturers, and have passed market inspection.
But also note that the LED light strings for home use should not be turned on for a long time. Due to the large number of LEDs, turning on the lights for too long will cause heat. Overheating will also cause safety accidents, although the LED current is small and the heat is small, but everything is safe!
Still pay attention to safety, indoor LED lights, only someone at home should turn them on, and don’t turn them on for a long time, which means turning them on all night.
What are the reasons for the safety hazards of LED decorative light strings? There are two possible situations:
1. It may be caused by the wrong connection of the neutral wire of the switch. Although the neutral wire is turned off, after the live wire enters the lamp, it forms an AC loop through the distributed capacitance of the remaining neutral wire segment and the ground.
2. Another situation is that after the switch disconnects the live wire, the disconnected live wire and the charged live wire pass through the same wire tube, which is also a distributed capacitance, which conducts the induced voltage of the charged AC live wire.
